My son-in-law was a Marine fighter pilot who went to Top Gun School. He said that actual dog fights are physically brutal.

Intense G-forces, I've read; requiring fighter pilots to keep rock-hard abs in order to do the abdominal strain maneuvers required to keep blood flowing to your head (otherwise you will pass out.) Even the Libelle suit might not do the trick.
