Why?
We saw many others walk into the house and leave too. Were they all robbers?
Besides, was it it stated no robberies were reported in that neighborhood for the last 60 days?
because 511 needs the erroneous application of the part of the statue that mentions reasonable suspicion and willful ignorance the rest of the statute. he does not realize the reasonable suspicion part of the second sentence refers to the offense mentioned in the first sentence... which requires directly witnessed/immediate knowledge of the offense occurring.
a legit example of CA - 511 sees someone walk by another group's table and picks up car keys left by someone who went to the bathroom. this person drives away while people at the table panic that their car is being stolen. 511 might have reasonable suspicion to believe GTA occurred and attempt to arrest the car theft.
an obviously bogus example of CA that appears to be 511's interpretation - 511 thinks someone was drove away from the restaurant a little too fast. 20 minutes prior to that, 511 had overheard people discussing that there were recent auto thefts in the area. 511 decides to go pick up his son to go citizens arrest the driver.

Another could be situation wherein folks are standing around and someone yells "Hey that guy just snatched that old lady's purse!" You turn around and see people pointing at a guy running off with a purse in his hand. Although you didn't observe the alleged crime yourself, that's likely a justifiable citizens arrest if you ran guy down and detained him.

you are stupid.
the house had been robbed prior to the shooting. they had already had a run in with arbery prior to the shooting. there is a 911 call of that.
arbery is on video inside the house during the day and during the night on more than one occasion prior to the shooting.
on the day of the shooting, arbery when confronted on the property decided to run. as he was running, so was the person who called 911. he was following him.
the mcmichaels knew who they were looking for because the 911 caller let them know as he was running. thats when the mcmichaels got in the truck and went after him.
im so glad you and that other person mouton do not live anywhere around me. im 100% certain you would let your neighbors house get robbed and claim the robber was the victim.

Don’t rob people and go for their guns when they try to confront him you. That’s a good rule.

That’s a great short story. Almost none of it applies to this case. It is good advice, though.

Homeowner should have reported that to the police.

Arbery didn’t rob anyone that day. And now the vigilantes are on trial for murder. There might be some takeaways there for you. Maybe not. Who knows?

How long before the shooting? Days, weeks or months?
quote:
they had already had a run in with arbery prior to the shooting
What kind of run in?
quote:Was anything stolen then? How long before the shooting?

Then that person can testify as to what happened.

And people have spent eight pages arguing with him.

You stick a gun in an innocent person’s face and he ends up dead - guess who is guilty?
This shite ain’t rocket surgery, fellas.

Have these patriots been found not guilty yet?

yea you cant really be the aggressor chasing someone down hit them with your vehicle, draw guns and kill them if/when they attempt to defend themselves and cry that it was self defense. its crazy town to ignore the entire pursuit and aggravated assault prior to the victim trying to disarm their assailant.

Rittenhouse had just spent several hours providing medical care to injured people and otherwise minding his own business.
Michael Jr had just spent 20 minutes using two vehicles to chase an un-armed man through his neighborhood with a shotgun.
