Yes, he did.
You would have a very strong argument in suggesting that Trump was betrayed by Ryan, McConnell et al. with regard to ObamaCare, but not on the wall.
It was his central campaign promise. That was how he won the election and he caved on it from the start.
You start this thread talking about unity, but the minute someone refuses to bow down to your god, you lash out like a playground bully. As I said before, don't be surprised when others decide to behave as petty as you have, and sit at home in November. Team Trump should have been about "unity" over a year ago, and they/you should have meant it, rather than pay lip service to it, while insulting people non-stop because they had legitimate complaints about Trump and refused to treat him like a god and savior.
If you truly want unity among conservatives, maybe you should start acting like it. Start with a mea culpa and go from there.

We stopped addressing the truth when the FCC did away with the "Fairness Doctrine" in the 80's. Since then the News we replaced has become "entertainment" based on money and ratings. We have no sense of what the truth is any more and the "God & County" guys I grew up with that actually cared about this country are already in the grave or headed there soon.

Most everybody that is in this country today left a country that was oppressive because almost EVERY country had some form of primogeniture and this country offered a change from that. As for me it was required study in school back in the day and I have an old leather bound dog eared copy from my youth at my beside now (that and the old family Bible from the 1700's). Since most on here can't read past a single sentence my guess is the vast majority have not and guessing it is no longer required reading in school.

Most on here quote states rights and "The Federalist Papers" and if they have never read the full constitution I am even more confident that have not not read 1 of them, much less all 85. When they refer to the Papers they are really just discussing 2 - 4 and totally ignoring the other 80 or more.
Here is the TL : DR version
Federalist = Landed Gentry + Lawyers + Bankers
Democratic - Republicans = Merchants (small) + Farmers + most everybody else
