Same. My church will be getting a raise this fall and I plan on organizing a neighborhood men's group for weekend activities. It's time to build communities again, because they will be highly necessary going forward.
Yup
"Donate" those 3 hours on Saturday for LSU football to your children, family, friends and neighbors.
Those tickets you would have bought? Find something to spend that money on that lifts you up instead of funding people who hate you.
Show some fricking self respect people!

I stopped watching the NFL in 2017

I’m done with the NFL as well.

I had started losing interest in the NFL a few years ago, had to work weekends last year and ended up not watching a single NFL game(and only a few replays of Auburn games on youtube).
Honestly didn't miss it at all. As a kid, baseball was probably my favorite sport. But I haven't watched an inning of MLB since the unfinished season in the early 90s and don't miss it at all, either.
No doubt in my mind that finding something else to do on weekends in the Fall won't be a problem.

Why? Because the money is in the TV deals.

Liberals project. If they would do it they assume everyone would.

This is going to be such a shite show for Goodell and the owners and I can’t wait for it.

This is the end of football.
Unfortunately, that’s exactly what they were shooting for.
In a few years there'll be more warehouse workers and cord wood help out there than you can shake a stick at.

You seem to think people are trying to hurt the NFL instead of just not watching it because they're tired of the bullshite.

You’re going to have to boycott their advertising sponsors. You know... Verizon, Anheuser-Busch, Procter & Gamble, Pepsi...
If ratings and attendance go away, those will no longer be their sponsors.

I found a list of the top 10 NFL advertisers. I left off Amazon and Nike because I’m sure y’all are already boycotting them.
But, using Amazon as an example. I benefit from their product. BUT, I used to have 4 different subscriptions from them. All were cancelled in the last few days. And, from here forward, wherever there is an easy option, I will not use Amazon. You don't actually have to boycott to still substantially reduce the $$ leaving your pockets for a company. Amazon USED to get a pretty large shite ton of my cash. No more.
As for Nike. I don't think I've bought anything from them in 3-4 years.

frick this
Does anyone have the balls to STAND and tell the truth?
The truth that the cause of all of this is rampant black crime. The truth that systemic racism is a mythical boogeyman that doesn’t exist. The truth that the way forward is to rebuild communities from the ground up focusing on the nuclear family.
Every single person that knows the truth but kneels is a coward. Brees better not kneel, he knows the truth.

JJ Watt is one of the biggest pro athlete supporters of local law enforcement we have in Houston.
If he took a knee, I’d be disappointed to the bone.

I expect to be cheering when black, or white, players make a touchdown for the Saints, or, to a lesser extent, for the Cleveland Browns.
