Administration rules out diesel export ban

A White House official denied a report that the Administration was preparing a 90-day ban on diesel exports, while Energy Secretary Chris Wright said nobody was considering a flat ban on shipments.
Instead, the Administration is discussing ways to get more diesel into the U.S. market while maintaining maximum flows of gasoline and jet fuel, Wright said.

The most important part is ultimately making the right decision, but the fact they tried this is just insane.

Good to know the President listens to Secretary Wright. It’s so nice to have a Secretary of Energy who actually knows what they’re supposed to be in charge of, as opposed to that idiot Jennifer Granholm who Potato Biden chose.

What about a partial ban? What about a 60 day ban?

This seems to be the trend and I don’t have a problem with it. There are many moving market and submarket reactions. Gathering intel is appropriate.
