This is political theatre and Adam schiff is the most dishonest person in government I can think of. He is literally making things up knowing the media will take what he says and print it furthering the narrative that trump has committed some horrible crime when in fact this is just more of the same.

They are making a leap by classifying this as the President seeking help with his reelection. I guess this could be said of anything the President does on a daily basis. Everything he does each day, as long as he is successful, might lead to his reelection.
