You see why it is such a silly “argument?” TA is a thousand times smarter than you and his analogy still fell flat. Maybe stick to stealing from SFP. You stole a very very poor argument from TA.

You mistakenly believe (like most of your tribe) that trade deficits are directly tied to fiscal deficits.

Youre badly mistaken

Do you really want these crappy jobs back? Then, when they don't pay much and the workforce wants to unionize, you guys will sky scream about that.

The plan is to slap tariffs on other countries until they eliminate tariffs on us.

I don't think they will.

I think that's when MAGA will start to embrace unions. It's going to happen, it will be the next leftist tenet they embrace, and I think this could be exactly the thing that pushes them to do it.

There are already a few uat fans here who would probably tell you right now that they would support unions. Them and the ten wheels for Jesus guy.

I don’t recall Elon running for president first of all and his businesses are worldwide so certainly he would expect pain. Would he still get pains otherwise as he is a Trump cheerleader because he sees what is happening throughout the world. Who hasn’t discussed an impending disaster because of years of disastrous decisions and stupid policies. I personally planned on getting a bit different outcome in my life than I ended up with but managed to do just fine I’m the end. I’m sure your life had zero hiccups and everything was dandy

I think it is too.

I'm being 100% serious when I say there are some posters here right now who if you said, "Let's say that Trump's tariffs brought back 2 million manufacturing jobs, but in the US those jobs only pay $17 an hour. Would you support them unionizing and collectively bargaining to get that number up to $30 or $35 an hour?" I think they would say absolutely.

Probably more than one would think, actually. Maybe even more than I would think.

I might try it in a little while and see.
