They are keeping interest rates too high worried about the inflation boogeyman which has yet to appear. Other countries are aggressively cutting their rates while we are dilly dallying around.

Maybe, but a man can only stand so much PRESSURE. President Trump is applying pressure. And say we start to slip into a recession. Having set the stage, Trump will apply more pressure to Mr.Powell.

He hand picked Powell. Rates right now are stupid low on mortgages and just about everything else. If we do see a recession and the FED already had the rate at 0 then our gun is empty.
