That’s great but that should’ve been done four weeks ago.

Unfortunately for Doc, this is meaningless. The damage has been done because our state is 49th in education. No one has the ability to read the articles debunking his claims.

Abraham should do the state a solid and withdraw.

This is what I am thinking at this time. I am not sure if Rispone is the answer, but I don't think Abraham will beat him. We cannot allow JBE to win in the primary.

Ralph Abraham is demonstrating exactly what leadership looks like. This is outstanding and exactly what our state needs now more than ever.

Abraham is a known quantity with 4 years in Congress. Despite the commercials and hysterics on this board, Ralph votes the same way as the conservative wing of the GOP. I’m voting for Doc in primary and then whoever is running against JBE in runoff.

Rispone is more of an unknown quantity. He is best known for bankrolling education reform efforts in Louisiana. He says he is against the death penalty, against abortion and against taxes. Other than that, who knows? He isn’t a “career” politician, but that also means we don’t really know where he stands on lots of issues.

As an elected official, who failed to do his job over 400x, what makes you think he'll do his job as governor?

No...he didn't do anything that merits withdrawing other than upset all JBE supporters and a few diehard Rispone supporters by being a real leader.

The deceptive attacks on Abraham were intended to make him look weak and subtly rip his character. What's happened instead is Abraham's not going away, and that really bothers those with a lot of money who want to rid themselves of him as a threat. It's becoming more obvious every day.

What do you mean "failed to do his job 400x?" Please be specific. I'm not sure this is accurate.

Not sure why people dont treat politics as a job interview.

Rispone: "I failed to show up 400 times to do my job"
Public: "That's unacceptable"

Abraham: "I failed to show up 400 times to do my job"
Public: "Oh, that's okay. You're a politician, you're a busy guy"

Abraham has been a politician for what 4 or 5 years now, is that the definition of career? It seems like with the deceptive ad that he ran Rispone had the qualities of the “career politicians”

He's admitted to not voting because "it didnt affect Louisiana."

Louisiana is a part of the United States of America. If it affects another state, it will eventually affect us.

Specific enough for you?

Maybe you should do some own independent research.

Why does he need to write a letter? I think a phone call would have been better. Less optics though.

Once again, Ralph first two years - same voting percentage as rest of GOP.

Ralph second two years - same (actually better) voting percentage as rest of GOP running for another office.

I hate to defend these attacks because they’re just dumb. The day after the election Eddie will say Ralph’s really a great guy and it was just “politics”.

Now, the attacks on JBE? those are going to leave a mark.
