Paxton isn’t a true patriot. The populace loves the war and thanks Trump for defending are freedoms.

I’m not in-tune with the inside baseball and relationships within TX politics like some on here are, but from an outside viewpoint, I don’t think Abbott and Paxton have been close allies. It’s basically just been a relationship out of necessity for both.
So…I don’t think it’s Abbott distancing himself from President Trump. In fact, I think he and President Trump probably get along great and agree on tons of stuff. He’s probably not wanting to be on a stage with Ken Paxton.
Can’t say I blame him.
