so you would be OK if a right wing DOJ and Intelligence Community saw your posts on here complaining about how Trump's tweets gave you anxiety and "broke" you, then declared those a "red flag" and stripped away your 2nd amendment rights?

please dont avoid this question.

There is no question that Gun Violence Protective Orders (the end result of so-called Red Flag Laws) can be EFFECTIVE. The question is the extent to which they might be subject to abuse. A well-written statute can resolve many (most?) of those concerns, but we are still left with those who remain convinced that their elected judges cannot be trusted with even a well-written law.

Debatable. Laws are for law abiding citizens.

Many in the judicial system are ideologues that believe they were sent there or elected to interpret the law NOT uphold it.

Evidence is a bitch and can be thrown out if it doesn't fit.

Have gavel, don't give a frick.

It's a simple system really but, most of them couldn't operate a lemonade stand.

shall not be infringed.

we only focus on these shootings b/c the media tells us to LOOK AT IT. there are far more serious "causes of death" for our country to take a look at.

until we are going after preventative loss of life in a pragmatic way on greater issues, i will not take any "gun debate" seriously. it's political, and it's for power over the people.

shall not be infringed, period.

the real problem is in the family unit, our morals, and parents simply not giving enough of a damn about their kids to discipline them.

I actually agree with this 100%

The problem is our congress often has no clue what's on a bill beyond the dollar amount they're voting for.

frick off. Every teacher should receive mandatory firearms training and a finger print actuated safe installed in desk with firearm. Had this been the case, 90 plus percent of those kids plus the teacher would have went home last night.

The accused has a right to a hearing before his weapons are taken.

You have to be a troll. Nobody is this retarded on purpose.

Yes, yes, just have to waste your time doing a little hearing with a leftist judge who is there to rubber stamp your arms away. Brilliant idea, comrade.
