Can we just stop calling it flock safety? When they filed their patent, it was filed under flock surveillance, not flock safety.

Let that sink in for a minute.

Good for him....

But Hood County has a population of a little over 61K. Doubt there's a lot of "wanted" people there...

Yet FLOCK feels it needs to be there. I pray the actions of this Constable become the habits of all!!

I would love for FLOCK to be placed in every government agency, office, hallway, rooms, etc., first so that we Americans can really appreciate its ability.

After such exposure, Americans can decide if they really want or need it.

I'm all for it, but a constable is basically a process server. Now, if the Sheriff of Hood County were to say it, then you are saying something.

But guess who would fight removal of Flock cameras.....the Sheriff. Law Enforcement has never met a tool that allows them to possibly violate your civil rights that they didn't like.

I want more of these in public spaces... Why are people so against them? Living with lower crime rates and fewer criminals on the streets is a good thing.

Most stores already have cameras watching you...even nursing homes. I went to go visit someone and you had to have your picture taken infront of a camera and it said "low wifi"...(mines turned off on my phone) so they are also picking up info from your phone. Flock cameras use cellular data from your phone but not wifi.

Please provide specific proof that Flock is contributing to either of these things.

Imagine a world gone mad were the simplest actions become crimes. You look at someone wrong. You are seen coughing as you walk down the street. I'm sure you think it would never happen. Phones were tracking proximity to covid outbreaks. Wonder how these cameras would have been utilized?

Pushback on Flock is growing. I passed a group of protesters on an overpass this morning. I've seen them in other areas over the past month or so.

So there’s no need for flock cameras then

Meh, if you don't like FLOCK then don't commit crimes and don't drive or travel in a car.

This is nothing like what happened in the story "1984".

It's no difference than what DNA analysis has done for helping the police find criminals.

If FLOCK is so effective and government waste is in excess of 1.5 trillion dollars while government whistleblowers are committing suicide at an alarming rate, why isn't FLOCK in every government office, hall, room, etc., before being used on civilians?

Are you saying government does not commit crimes?

Since most criminals use a motor vehicle during the course of commiting a crime and most governmental employees and elected public officials don't commit a crime during the course of conducting their official duties I think FLOCK better serves the general public by placing them on the public roads and in public places than in government buildings.
