It wasn’t routine, he had a warrant and he bucked. Didn’t deserve to get killed but if he complied he’d be alive.

Make the lie go viral, then publish the retraction a week later after the fires have already been started and the narrative is set. Rinse, repeat.

It's amazing they have any cops remaining on the job with this type of "top cover." Sure it could've gone down differently, but fck, if you're gonna throw these people under the bus at the drop of a hat, I expect fallout.

I don't really buy into the "didn't deserve to die" analysis in this kind of situation. When someone fights back and jumps frantically into the car he has created a volatile situation that has the appearance of being life or death for the officer.

While this instance involved an unusual type of mistake, one can expect that some type of mistake can be made in the heat of the moment when the adrenaline is pumping.

It's almost like you've seen this movie before.

People in influential positions ( i.e. politicians, the media etc. ) throwing out opinions publicly on things like this be fore an investigation has been started much less finished should be held in the same regard as yelling fire or gun in a crowded movie theater.

Trying to make this into a race issue.

It’s an accidental shooting issue meaning more training is needed.

I would not make an arrest in the black community. I’d take a report, tell them they could have a copy, and they could go see the Magistrate about a warrant being issued.

Seems like a good time to go protest the Minnesota Governor at his house for running such a racist state.

This is not an acceptable reason for a police officer to murder someone.

What if he jumped into the car and grabbed a gun while the officer was holding her taser? These milli-secs decisions and none of us were there pumped full of adrenaline.

He's helping to put Minneapolis on the fast track to be the next Detroit.

When the last person leaves Minneapolis, please turn off the lights.

You left out the below part of my post. Take your. BS virtue signaling on down the road. And it’s not Murder, it’s an accidental homicide.

Better candidate screening and hiring practices are needed. That woman never should have been hired.
