Why in the hell would you want to set the precedent for the next Dem president to use a national emergency and the military to carry out his political agenda?
That's a terrifying and un-American thought
America died in 1865 when the Tyrants won. It's over. Everyone is just feasting on the corpse.
"Muh socialism" is coming. The ascendant class is third world, and they demand redistribution. They are being allowed to demographically replace the population from which the country was built, and there a only the narrowest of opportunities to stave this off long enough to get our shite together. Part of that is controlling immigration (stopping nearly all non-white immigration if we are being honest).
The other side owns the media, the "educational" system, both political parties, the "justice" system, and most importantly, the banking system.
Eventually, there will be a clash, and not a political clash, over all of this. So who gives a flying frick about Trump using an EO? I say do whatever it takes. There won't be fairness from the other side. Holding back just gives them more power. They are going to strike every time, regardless of how "muh constitution" Trump acts.

I actually pray you mother duckers start a revolution for socialism so we can wrap this shite up much quicker.

Want another example: a Speaker that will not fund wall construction just to prevent a political opponent from fulfilling a campaign promise.

That's literally how our government works. You don't get to subvert that because you want to. The people on the right saying Trump should declare a national emergency and use the military to circumvent congress opposition to his political platform is literally at stupid and dangerous as the people on the left calling for an end to the Electoral College.
He’s got congressional consent to do this. It is a national emergency. You yourself said as much. Allowing the continuous influx of illegal immigration will kill this country. He should do whatever is allowed in order to get the wall built. And build it now.

And America in many ways died on this battlefield, despite what others want to say. Part of me truly does believe I was born in the wrong time period. I was born about 150 years too late. What it would've been like to have lived when men were truly allowed to be men.

Pick Vietnam. Pick any conflict where one side attempts to wage a conventional war against an enemy using guerilla warfare tactics.
Honestly, I suspect you're a leftist "concern troll" more than an actual Trump supporter.

Why would you think a Dem President wouldn’t do this regardless of what Trump does?

I think the America died that day in all the ways that truly matter.

Nay. Illegal immigration is only part of the problem. Our Suicidal immigration policy based on the magic dirt theory of civic nationalism will be the thing that destroys us. Our country will die when the people who built it from nothing are overtaken by hordes of non-white, third world immigrants. Every so-called conservative that denies the distinct, predictable differences of the various peoples of this earth is no better than the staunchest of progressives. This country was built by our people for our people and they cannot be replaced without destroying what was built. National Review conservatives are the Judas traitors that sold us out for pats on the head from the left.
Democracy is truly the god that failed here. Democracy, as a national strategy, will have to end if there is any chance to save what's left.

Agreed. People can say what you want about that man, but if I had lived in that time period I would have truly been willing to die for him. Outside of an immediate family member there's no one today I would say that for.

I can't say exactly what I would have done, but the civil war is an extremely embarrassing part of our history IMO. While I obviously side with the right of the confederacy to exist, It's obvious that both sides didn't do enough to prevent bloodshed in the process. Sad era of us history that followed that needless conflict.

I want a shut down until wall was built or cuck GOP rolled over for Dems and passed so etching over the veto
Either would have been fine with me
1. We get a wall
2. Congress would have worked together a swe would know where they stand

It's embarrassing because it ended America and what it was supposed to be. A collection of states with a very small federal government working together.
I'm not saying I agree with slavery, I don't, I think it was a horrible institution, but I do believe in state's rights. And the fact is true state's rights died with the Civil War. If Lincoln had wanted to do what was right and avoid bloodshed he would've let the Confederacy exist as its own country. The U.S. would have still been a pretty big country and slavery would've ended at some point anyway. Slavery was already on its way out and with the industrial revolution I believe it would've been gone before the start of the 20th century.
While Lincoln might have won a war, we lost everything this country was originally intended to be.

On one hand I agree with the dangerous precedent. On the other hand if he can’t get the wall any other way he loses RE-election and a democrat (very left) wins and 8 years later the worst happens anyway without any need for the socialists to de late a national emergency.
It’s kind of to the point of damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t.

The Democrats can no longer accept failure! With Hillary Clinton's failed presidential bid, the extreme left has merged with the DemonRats to resist government in any form if it isn't initiated by a Democrat. They hate the fact that Donald Trump, an outsider to the political pig pen that has manifested itself in Washington D.C., stole the election from their poster child. I say, use the national emergency declaration and protect our southern border by building a strong, impenetrable wall to keep illegals from hopping into our country and immediately burdening our tax coffers. And this from a veteran of the U.S. Army!
BUILD THE WALL!

That was a clash of dictators. There were no 'good guys'.

I will always wonder what would have happened if the south had voluntarily abandoned slavery and continued arguing the states rights issue.
I suspect they may have gained some support from northern states and things may have turned out much different, maybe the war itself may have been avoided.
We will never know now
