Trump told us we destroyed Iran’s nuclear infrastructure just last year. Then magically Iran was “two weeks away” from having a nuclear weapon all the sudden again

I think the issue is people are remembering that this admin said they completely destroyed the nuke program Iran had. And aggressively asserted that claiming anything otherwise was FAKE NEWS. Then months later we attack Iran in the middle of negotiations. If Iran has no nukes then Israel can defend itself.

O.k., but why is this the first thing that MAGA seems to care about that Trump says conflicting things about?
He says conflicting things about most things and MAGA doesn't blink, because they recognize that that's how he communicates and they trust that regardless of what he says in public, he's got things under control behind the scenes (even when there's no reason to conclude that).

There are different branches of Islam.
Iran is almost entirely Shia while Saudi Arabia and Kuwait are almost entirely Shia.
Iraq is a combination of the two that was artificially created by the British so they could set the two against each other to be more easily controlled like they did in India, but that’s another story for another day.
The Shias are far more strict in terms of adherence to the Koran which is why you don’t see them flying in hookers from Eastern Europe or driving around London in supercars.
What we’re dealing with are like the super Islam group in Iran who hate the Sunnis almost as much as they hate the Jews and Christians.
To do and maintain regime change would be like going to Salt Lake City and forcing the Mormons to setup Las Vegas style brothels next to their temples.
Sure there are some casuals out there who would be ok with it if they made money on the deal, but 50-70% are going to be pissed and have to be monitored and repressed constantly to keep them from overthrowing whatever proxy group you install to run it.
