It just sucks man I feel like Republicans don’t care at all about anyone else. The only reason I think people even vote for Democrats is because they have some kind of hope whether it’s false or not, maybe born out of naïveté, that some human beings still care about others.
It seems like Republicans care more about their guns, and the unborn, then their fellow man let alone their fellow country man. Eileen to the left but I promise you, I’m not out to get you, I’m not even religious but I love you guys even though I get angry and say stupid shite I shouldn’t, I don’t hate you, I don’t want any harm to come to you, I want America to be the best goddamn country in the world, I want people to be able to have their guns in the privacy of their home and be able to protect their families, I want people to Marry who they want, I want a strong military, I want people to be able to walk down the street in safety and comfort with their family, sometimes I just get so down, every day we are bombarded with information that is so negative, and then everyone hates each other, everyone wants to kill each other, everyone wants to shout at each other until no one can be heard, and then when it actually hits your family, right in the teeth, right where you care of the most, it hurts more than you can know.
I only pray that none of you have to go through anything similar, and that you can be happy and healthy.

Here's the problem with your thought process.
While everyone agrees the formula shortage is a big problem, and that this will cause many families to suffer, and that it is horrible, you are trying to place blame on the right, for something created by the left.
Yes, this is politics driven. The Biden admin shut down the plant. The Biden admin drug their feet in reviewing the plants appeal to reopen. The Biden admin, like everything else, is comprised of lazy fricking democrats.
You should be angry at the Democrats and the Left. Not Trump. This has NOTHING TO DO WITH TRUMP. But, you're leftist worldview will NEVER allow you to blame your own party, when you know damn well they are responsible. So you start this thread and spew bullshite how it's "both sides fault" and those "greedy corporations". Stop defending the ineptitude, laziness, selfishness, and evil on the left.
Now, once you do that, you can rationally reason the other problems. Why does 1 plant shutting down lead to mass shortages nation wide? Well, history tells us, that monopolies are guaranteed when the owners are political contributors. Who was Abbot, or their parent companies largest political donations too? Also think, how often are right wing organizations allowed to monopolize industry without getting attacked by the media and left? Almost never. Now do the opposite. When you realize the media is an arm of the left, then you will start to understand who is at fault for most problems we have in this country.
Do you have the ability to set aside party pride and emotions to think rationally, even when your own family is at stake? Or will you still try to shift blame on anyone other than the responsible party because it might point at YOU being part of the problem?

I believe in the beginning it blames the Biden administration for not solving this and being on it sooner. It also blames the FDA. At least that’s how I read it.

It is pretty bad here in the Atlanta area.
Our 6 month old was on Enfamil Sensitive. We started a subscription through Amazon, got the first delivery in March but they could not fulfill it in April. We then switched him to Earth's Best Sensitivity because we could find it locally, then it started to get scarce, so we started an Amazon subscription for it. We got the first shipment, but I don't think they will be able to fulfill the next one.
We hit a total of about 8 different stores over last weekend in our area and they were out of pretty much everything except Gerber Good Start. One Kroger had two cans of their Earth's Best Organic, and a can of Enfamil rice based formula.
My MIL found 2 cans of the Earth's Best in Tennessee and shipped them to us. Wife's former co-worker found three cans of it north of Atlanta and got that to us. Some friends have managed to find a few cans in the Florida panhandle and are sending those our way.
We are hoping we have enough to get us to mid-June and maybe see the supply return a little bit.

Look, if you don’t want shite at a difficult time like this then maybe don’t come to a conservative leaning political talk board with a WaPo article and yammering about how Trump and Republican corporations are at fault.
With all that said, I truly do wish for the best for your nephew and all affected babies. They bear no blame in any of this and should not be having to go without food and nourishment ever.
