Good answer. Islam teaches that violence is ok against non believers. Christianity does not. That doesn’t mean Christian’s cannot fight back or defend our faith. It just means we cannot use violence to subjugate or eliminate those who don’t believe. We are supposed to spread Gods word and love to those who don’t believe and hope they see the Truth

I learned about the Battle of Tours (Charles Martel) in my Western Civ class. This was the battle where western civ was saved from Muslims. Without that win, Europe would have completely fallen and we would all be speaking Arabic today.

And who was it that saved us? The FRENCH. Back when they actually fought.

He’s very good in that environment, but he doesn’t know history very well. He repeatedly referred to Islamic acts from before Mohammed was born.

It sounded like he knew his history but played fast and loose with the term "Islamic World" once or twice in the response on slavery.
