What frick no. Where are the arrests. The mass deportations. The day 1 end to Eukraine. The swamp. The lists runs forever. He closed the border. Which was simply enforcement of existing law

The strait was always the ace up the sleeve of the Iranian ayatollahs. For decades they have been becoming increasingly dangerous building stockpiles of missiles and working towards nukes. They are already the largest state sponsor of terrorism, but we’re supposed to just stand by and watch as they become a global threat? Because they can hold hostage the shipment of oil from neighboring countries?

Once they acquired a batch of nukes it would be a different world. A world of being under constant threat from a bunch of camel frickers.

The USA, under Donald J Trump will correct the fiasco created by decades of weak leadership. The whole free world owes us an enormous gratitude for what we are doing.

For what? Border, ok. Immigration? Mixed bag, there. Trade? Courts kicked his arse... not his fault. Economy sucks, he's grown debt even more and now a new war.

We just negotiated opening a strait that was already open before the military operation began. While also giving Iran and its proxies 2 weeks to regroup and reorganize. Now read that again two more times just in case it didn’t sink in at first.

Iran is already defeated from a military perspective.

It's all they have left is to try and win politically by striking fear into anyone trying to move through the strait. And they will lose that battle too, imo.

Now, losing that doesn't necessarily mean they'll totally lose the political battle overall. But they will not control the strait to any extent unless we too are getting a big piece of that pie.

Look, people seem to be rallying around the Straight of Hormuz being opened as the big victory here, which I guess is understandable since Trump has effectively managed to make it the sole point of focus over the past week or two, but that was never a stated goal of this war to begin with. The straight was opened before we launched the first wave. People seem to be, likely willfully, ignoring the actual goals of this war in favor of the Hormuz "win". That is weak.

It's not weak. The process of solving the major issue has created a smaller issue, albeit one that may require a bit more finesse to solve.

I guess if your perspective is to focus solely on the negatives, ignore the positives, and choose to believe that the issue with the strait came as a complete shock to the DoD, then I can understand your viewpoint. I just don't share it. Because this isn't over. Its major military operation against a country of almost 100 million and full of mountainous terrain, led by crazy people who are willing to die for their cause.

Yes, the largest state sponsor of terrorism, who shouts death to America constantly, and who has partnered with China. Many folk want us to leave these sweet people alone bc gas prices might go up and bc the Joos.

China was getting all or most of its oil from Venezuela and Iran. Notice that.
