You guys rag on anything Islamic in here at the first chance you get.
Constantly talking about how bad it is for the country.
During Trump's first term, he specifically called out Qatar for being an Islamic state that funds terrorism against the US.
Second term
Trump has golf courses opening all over Qatar
Trump gets a $400M dollar plane
Jared Kushner has a PE firm that Qatar is heavily supporting.
A few months later, we have this base that the leader of the department of war himself called a Qatar Military base
And some how you guys are willing to write that off as nothing and expect everyone else to forget about the hate you all have for Islam, but since Trump says it's ok all of a sudden, you are good with it.

The main people arguing the base were not Liberals. I doubt "cinservayivewifeymom" was a liberal and she had 30 posts complaining.
I'm a moderate (boo, i know) and i was trying to explain the importance of Qatar to us and that we've trained pilots since the plane was invented.

Japan airlines used the Moses Lake airport for 30 years training 747 pilots. Runways were very long for military bombers and air traffic was low. I was there for a week in 1987 and could watch 747's touch and go all day long.
There was a great Japanese cafe at the airport.

The point is, most of the right hated Obama and especially pointed to him being an "Islamic sympathizer" that wants the muslims to take over America, even though none of that was true.
Trump, during his first term, labeled Qatar a terrorist state that is against America.
Now that the money is rolling in, we love the Qatar nation, and the muslims are good because Daddy Trump is ok with it.

When I was at Ft. Rucker we had coalition forces go through helicopter training. In my AIT for Air Traffic we had a guy from Lebanon in my class. Some military installations, mostly Air Force Bases, have a building or areas for other countries and forces. This is not a big deal.
