I agree with this. I went through some of his older videos looking for any indication that he was wearing body armor (including the Utah one) and couldn't see anything even remotely detailing that he had it on.

You can see Charlie’s tits. He clearly had on no body armor. A bullet may deflect off of a plate if one was worn and he clearly isn’t wearing a plate carrier.

I’d be curious about his first semester and the drop out.
Whatever the reason, as a 4.0 full ride high school kid- he probably became pretty untethered from his lifelong perceived path and quite vulnerable to poor guidance from castouts and miscreants
Obviously not factual but if erasing the shooting from the story and just writing the narrative of a full ride drop out - that’s probably pretty common that they fall into communities with folks that think low of the system, high of themselves but see no path forward in life - places like antifa are likely a stereotypical landing spot for those that don’t bootstrap into a trade quickly

A 130 yard shot with that rifle is cake. He would have only needed to know how to use the rifle. Very little experience required
