A gender quota for congress

So, I'm watching Link TV with a panel of female European journalists discussing Intl Women's Week, feminism, gender equality, etc.
They like the fact that a higher percentage of elected officials in Europe are women. But the US is lagging behind. Their solution: Quotas.
Simply make a law that after every election 50% of Congress is female.
How? It's easy. Take the US Senate. Each state gets 2. The seats would be designated: 'Louisiana Female Senate Seat Election' and 'Louisiana Male Senate Seat Election.'
Why? Because women are better at governing because 'they have striven through adversity more than men.'
Thoughts from any of you misogynist pigs out there?

What about for the fricking House? Is one district going to be forced to have a woman representative? If so we’re no longer a free country have been overwhelmed by SJW tyranny.

That's certainly a way to ensure the Congress could never be as good as it should be. Not because women are not capable but because there would be numerous occasions when a less qualified person would get a seat simply because they are a woman.
The same would be true if it were the other way around. As much as liberals claim to respect Martin Luther King they sure as hell are ignoring his statement about judging people by the content of their character.

OK, here is an example where they explain how women have a tougher time moving up the ladder than men:
When a man is competing for political office or a job and raises his voice, then he is 'confident and assertive'.
When a woman does it she is 'a bitch.'
I guess this is why Maxine Waters speaks in such a controlled, contemplative, understated manner. A man has it easier. He could just say 'We gonna impeach the mother fricker.'

It's becoming increasingly clear that Leftist/Progressive politics and ideologies are simply the enemy of civilization.
