Hey remember when they tampered with evidence when they raided mar a lago, then were ok with biden keeping classified docs in the garage?
Nearly everyone who quit recently was probably at the DOJ at that time.
frick ‘em.

It could be a leading indicator that things are about to get fricked, and not in a good way.
Or maybe the last 12 of 16 years had Obama and Biden stacking every part of the executive branch, including the DOJ with partisan activists? Go back and look at how many were forced out during those three democratic presidential terms.

For Democrats, yes. For the rest of us it looks like a good enema.

There are real shortages in divisions that investigate things like financial fraud. I don't think that is a good thing. Call me crazy

Do you think some of them have an ethical objection to finally being made to release Epstein docs?

And there is not an ounce of partisanship in your reasoning, correct?

They weren’t doing shite in this department when “the big guy” was in charge.

There is also the possibility that the honest and principled people are leaving.
Sure, that's possible.
But if they didn't leave when Obama was bugging Trump during the 2016 campaign and the DOJ was using a falsified dossier as an excuse to violate the 4th amendment on a broad-arse fishing expedition that lasted three years to try to overturn the 2016 election, and they still didn't leave when the Biden administration very obviously weaponized the DOJ to attempt to neutralize his political opponent, how likely do you really think it is that that possibility is true?
I'm thinking that puts that possibility way down on the list of likelies.

ummmm, your OP just proved this very thing
THE DOJ IS IN CRISIS !!!
Why are you saying that?
People are leaving the DOJ because of Trump!!!
uh, why is that a crisis? Thats a good thing. Trump, and his voters had hoped that would happen

He promised to clean out the rats. Looks like things are proceeding apace.

And yet, somehow, the fraud is being rooted out and investigated. I give you Minnesota, for one.

Think of how rotten the doj has been for decades.

It is estimated that somewhere between 5500 and 6400 employees have left the DOJ since Trump took office.
Seems a little less swampy.

It's possible that this fraud is much more widespread and more resources might be helpful.

Maybe it's because its a DOJ. that operates under the law not an illegal agenda. And you do know most fricking lawyers are liberal and will get a child rapist out of jail if they're paid enough money.

Then that would be an allocation of resources issue.
As someone stated earlier, the DOJ employs 115,000 people. That’s ridiculous. Losing as many as 6400 people is actually a good start toward cutting the bloat.
