He’s not smart enough to pull this off on his own. He’s the front man and the smart people are behind the scenes and taking the biggest cuts.

LINK

A 24-year-old man has been ordered by a federal judge to pay nearly $48 million in restitution and sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role in the largest pandemic fraud scheme in the U.S., the Department of Justice said Monday.

Abdimajid Mohamed Nur of Shakopee, Minnesota, was one of the first 47 people charged in connection with the Feeding Our Future fraud scheme in 2022. Nur is also accused of bribing a juror in the case and later pleaded guilty to that charge.

does that sound like nothings happening to you?

Therefore, everyone who is outraged over this should just calm down. It's only a small portion of your taxes being stolen. A drop in the bucket.

What a bizarre conclusion! I hope you don’t really think that?

I think these “lower-level” type people paying consequences is certainly good.

I think to move the needle on a meaningful, national scale, we await if anyone generally considered “too big to fail” will ultimately face some consequences as well.

The best chance of ever truly ending this amount and depth of corruption is going to come with some of the higher-level string pullers finally being brought to account.

Depending on point of view, I agree it may be a bit bizarre.

Then again, I found it bizarre that you took the time to make such a clarification that indeed "it is not 50% of our tax money that's being stolen. It's much less than that."

But I think we can all agree that it's in the billions across the country.

So what exactly was your point? since my response was bizarre in your opinion, what else was I supposed to infer?

My point was that it’s idiotic to say that 50% of taxes are stolen. It’s a simple point.

ETA: If I claimed that half of all Americans died in 2020 from covid would you just let that go? Some died, right? So let’s just say half?

Jimmy Carter did one thing that made sense. He instituted a zero based budget. You had to justify every penny you requested in your budget.

From his cultural point of view this is all acceptable and permissable. He is a moral hero.

so you think tampon tim dropped his reelection campaign to concentrate on his final year as governor and to spend more time with his family?

this investigation has been ongoing since 2024,

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is conducting a massive, ongoing investigation into fraud in Minnesota, primarily focused on the $250 million "Feeding Our Future" pandemic food aid scheme, which is considered one of the largest pandemic-related fraud cases in the U.S..

As of March-April 2026, the investigation has expanded to include Medicaid, child care, and other state social service programs.

Total Charges & Convictions: The DOJ has charged 98 individuals in Minnesota fraud-related cases. Over 60 individuals have pled guilty or been convicted.

Feeding Our Future Scandal: Over 75 defendants have been charged in this scheme, which involved fabricating, inflating, and submitting fraudulent meal claims for children.

Sentencing: Several key participants have received prison sentences. For example, a Minneapolis woman was sentenced to 51 months for her role, and another defendant received 10 years after a jury trial and subsequent attempted juror bribery.

Other Fraud Areas: The DOJ is investigating an $11 million Medicaid fraud scheme and other autism and housing stabilization service fraud cases.

Scale of Misuse: While the Feeding Our Future case is confirmed at over $250 million, some estimates suggest potential fraud exposure across Minnesota state programs could run into the hundreds of millions or higher.

so a simple thank you president trump will suffice!

He’ll probably be out in 3 years.

I’ve been paying taxes since I was 15.

I imagine most of you have been paying taxes for quite some time too.

I want my damn money back.
