frick the kid and teacher. I've always found it unsettling to pledge allegiance to a piece of fabric. Fire the teacher and send the kid and parents on a one way trip to Wakanda.

These stupid MF’ers can’t see the irony in their actions.

I'm sure Jesse Jackson is on his way down there right now.

It's just her mom's boyfriend's and his HBCU law school graduate twin brother's shot at a payday.

If the teacher actually pushed her against the wall that's obviously over the line.

They know they’re beyond reproach and exploit it at every turn. Never seen a group so unable to make their way. Must be stupid or something…

So she’s in the hallway during the pledge? Is that where she was supposed to be? Maybe should’ve been in her home room classroom at the time? Perhaps that why a teacher yelled at her. But don’t disrespect her choice of which rules to follow!

If Barack Obama had a daughter.

I agree. The Constitution is the law of the land (supposedly), and I pledged to defend it. I don't give allegiance to fabric or other objects, even though I'd go Rick Monday on anyone burning the flag.
It's odd how there have been a couple of threads on the Pledge in the last four days.

The girl from Korea. She would just sit silently getting a free education off the backs of Americans.

She owes what ever college she went to and whatever job she got after that to what that flag symbolizes.

There are strict laws against arson in every state. Those laws should be enforced.
