The sad thing is that she is teaching political science to students. I got a political science bachelors and can't even imagine how terrible it is presently. Are they even teaching anything pro-American anymore?

Some people--far more than I had ever imagined--are so intent on seeing through the world through their own lenses that they cannot accept even the blindingly obvious if it contradicts their way of viewing the world. Our enemies told us, in writing, why they committed the 9/11 atrocities yet fools such as Professor Jackson persist.
By the way, if Prof. Jackson would like to see a robust "heteropatriarchal" system in action, I suggest a society run by Islamic fundamentalists.

I didn’t say anything about it last week, but I heard an NPR story where US school teachers were teaching students they really don’t know why Al-Qaeda attacked us so horribly.
This is a lie, much like that lady’s tweet. We do know why.
Al-Qaeda clearly said that this was punishment for our support of Israel in the Middle East.
Now, I’m not going to get into a political debate on if we are eternal, holy allies with Israel like some Repubs like to say. But they are a crucial strategic partner which do share our belief systems, unlike much of the rest of the ME. And for that reason, they killed us en masse 20 years ago.
This is a lie, much like that lady’s tweet. We do know why.
