That please release is pure trash as is all the democrats publications, journals or any other media that espouse their views. They harp on truth and values but share neither. When I was a kid in the seventies the show seemed honest and informative. Then like every person that paid attention to details or omissions of them the actual story changed. They is only a side of a story versnews at that point

CBS is experiencing the same storyline as the film "Frankenstein." CBS corporate media overlords created a fake news outlet that did exactly what was expected from them (how many lies has Lesley Stahl told about Donald Trump?). But now that those same corporate media overlords have to worry about losing a ton of money for telling lies, suddenly they feel the need to reel in their on-air "talent" from being so reckless.
And just like Frankenstein, those well-paid propaganda puppets are now striking back at their masters. In the short-run, these people don't have to worry about the company's bottom-line. They're still receiving their over-inflated paychecks.

Since their boss was fired I tuned in thinking maybe they would go back to "The Old" ways but within the first 30 seconds they were bashing Trump.
so I changed the channel and again will never watch this shite show again

Shari, ought to call in all the employees and fire all of them this morning, and start anew.
Only focus on investigative non political stories.
My favorite 60 minutes story was on Campbell Wells in Grand Bois. It was a full hour long story/documentary style report. Unfortunately the folks at Exxon did not like it because somehow it implicated them or the oilfield in a certain manner. They almost killed the story. Instead of airing in the prestigious 60 minutes banner, they dumped it as a separate special right before Christmas.

I grew up watching 60 Minutes because my parents watched it every Sunday. When that ticking stopwatch came on, it felt like serious business. They were always left leaning but they had old school hardass journalists like Mike Wallace, Morley Safer, and Ed Bradley who would call out hypocrisy wherever they found it.
Now they have become completely blind to their own hypocrisy and seemingly oblivious to how irrelevant this show has become in the era of the internet, podcasts, X, and independent journalists. They still have yet to acknowledge how wrong they were about the Laptop From Hell when everyone at the time knew it was real and every story is now some woke bullshite. Their TDS is off the charts and they are incapable of any sort of balanced coverage.
60 Minutes lost whatever integrity they had years ago and only aging boomers or older are tuning in.

I am not sure that 60 minutes was ever an honest news story show
I was involved with a story they put out back in the 1980s and it was 100% false in their story and slanted.
They almost ruined a car company due to their lies
Since that time they have been caught over and over again with outright fabrications of truth
They cannot be shut down soon enough
