Taxation at this point is simply to reward or punish certain political constituencies. The Federal Income tax should be eliminated along with the IRS. Implement a VAT Tax that everyone pays upon consumption. Everyone is equal.

What if a person doesn't pay federal income taxes, but doesn't take federal assistance?
What if a person doesn't pay federal income tax, but pays state and local taxes. Should they only be allowed to vote in state and local elections?

We still have a lot of legacy C-Corp small businesses
They lost it for the 2021 tax year

If people aren't paying income taxes, then they don't give a shite what other people have to pay. This is especially true when the get refundable tax credits, so they actually make money for their sloth.

You think that we are going from a heavily trained volunteer military to a conscript military with a bunch of guys who don’t want to be there?
The cost of training that the government puts into soldiers these days and the cost of the equipment they use is so goddamn high that repeating the mistakes of Vietnam by having a bunch of fricktards who don’t want to be there get drafted would kill effectiveness as well as unit cohesion.
