Look at South Korea right now for a measuring stick of vaccine efficacy.
When the pandemic started they had very low case numbers due to the fact that they are effectively an island (peninsula with an impassable northern border zone) plus Asian robot syndrome of the populace doing everything they are told.
In 2020 South Korea had 55,000 Covid cases for the entire year.
In 2021 South Korea had 550,000 Covid cases for the entire year with a vaccine rollout.
By the end of 2021 85% of the country was fully vaccinated and by mid January 2022 over 50% of the country had received a booster shot.
Yet in the past 60 days they have had over 12 million cases! Hospitals and healthcare facilities are getting swamped.
A country that had 600,000 infections during the first 24 months of the pandemic has now ballooned to 12 million infections in the past two months alone despite having one of the highest vaccination rates in the world.
