He was convicted...what does this even mean?

Okay, but why the lax sentence? Or was that part of the plea?
I would say he had a great defense attorney, but the article states-
quote:
Rabino, who appeared out of custody and had represented himself for the majority of the court proceedings, declined to speak during the hearing.

Oh,by the way, this "judge's" office phone number is (702) 671-4350. I asked the lady who answered the phone that surely I misread and article about her boss. "Does Judge Bluth support baby killers?"

So many people would have jumped to adopt that beautiful little angel!

The dad needs to take action.

Did you get any response?!?!
Another question is 'Who's standing up for the murdered baby? Apparently he doesn't count.'

Complicit. That entire office.

The judge is quoted as saying that she did not "like" the deal, but that she understood it ... given the evidentiary problems.
Thanks. The frustration is understandable, but it sounds like the judges had their hands tied.

If I was this boys father or grandfather, there'd be no place in this world where both of those POS's could hide.
There's an old dry well in Cass county Texas that would have some visiters.

All the reporting says that the case had major evidentiary problems ... not least that the mother gave contradictory evidence and initially swore that this guy did not harm the child.
Well, there is this part...
quote:
A man who admitted to killing his then-girlfriend’s 1-year-old son
From the linked article above
A man admitted to killing a child and he was given probation. What more evidence do you need for a jail sentence?
What was the defense? That the kid tripped? That someone broke in and murdered the kid while he was home alone? Someone beat their kid to death while they were home but didn't stop it?
He had 2 broken legs and damage to his brain and eyes. It's not hard to figure out what happened. It's not hard to understand that a piece of shite mother would put her ghetto boyfriend above her own son and lie about it.
There is no excuse for giving an admitted child murderer a soft sentence. Attempting to provide cover for the people responsible is disgusting.
