Terrible. But what do you expect when you’re irresponsible.

I think we already know the answer to this question.

This is what they're working on?? A retarded fish frog could tell you the gun was not in a secure location.

If we want to start fixing things in this country maybe one place to start would be requiring our law enforcement to have more than a pre-k education.

If the kid had access to a chambered gun, the parents should be shot. Might just be me, but I've bought cap guns for my 3-4 year olds (might just be the nostalgia) and still teach them to not point it to anyone. How does this happen without gross negligence?

edit: my wife can't even chamber a round in most of my guns, let alone a child.

You should spend some time at the range and teach your wife how to use a gun. It just might save her and your family’s life one day.

That poster spoke the truth about the culture and environment to which this "fcking kid" was condemned.

Your quote in that sentence says much about yourself as well.

What happened is absolutely tragic!

I can't help to think about by home growing up, my Dad was a Marine and a good ole boy who loved hunting and loved his guns. We had guns everywhere in our home and I can tell you that not one of us 5 kids would have ever dreamed of touching one of his guns! I can also say, when we were that young, he would have never left a loaded gun where we could get it.

That city is called Crime Bluff for a reason.

This is parental failure. 6 kids and 1 adult that was sleeping.

You have to feel sorry for these kids who can't pick their parents. And forget the race, look at it for what it is, a young child's life snatched from them.
Just like the toddlers who are seen cursing at the policemen recently, where the hatred and vile behavior of the parents or authoritive figures in the kids' lives are mirrored, these children are victims of a cultural brain-fart.
The parents should be jailed for allowing their young children to have access to loaded guns. One year is probably not long enough but nothing less will suffice.

That's what no one wants to look at: they say well their black kids, etc...

These kids were born into their circumstances: white, black, yellow, brown, make, female etc..

There are black women that have 6 kids and no father around to live off the system. There are white women who do the same. There are women of all colors who gave multiple kids, no fathers and make their children think they are retarded just to draw a check and work.

Now try to pick which child has the worse potential outcome, it's impossible

1. This is to be expected in Pine Bluff.

2. We changed to 2 letter state abbreviations in the 60's. Why the hell are people still using Ark?

I feel like I got it right with my sons. I had guns around the house, and I told them from a very early age that any time they wanted to look at, handle, or even shoot (if appropriate) any of my guns, all they had to do was ask me, and do it in my presence so I could ensure their safety. Any time they asked, I pretty much dropped whatever I was doing, and let them do just that.

But I also told them that if I ever caught them touching my guns without permission, they wouldn't be able to sit for a week. I meant it, and they knew it. I never once had an issue.
