College student here. This is horse shite only a place like CNN would be able to project crap like this out of their mouths. Only CNN would be able to take perfectly good words and form perfectly good sentences and turn that into garbage. Learn to feed yourself college morons. Get a pork chop from the grocery store they are like $2.75-$3.80 put it in a skillet and cook it. That is a hell of a lot cheaper than than Spending $5.69 on a big mac you pigs. Also Pork Chop > Big Mac every time. This is dumb college kids that think they are super Important and that their voices need to be heard. And are willing to complain about anything.

This is the result of having FREE LUNCH from Kindergarten to High School. Breakfast Lunch and a Snack
I don't believe parents can't afford to make their children a sandwich before school. This whole Free Lunch crap needs to end. It's just a hook to keep people dependent on the Gov't. Trickle up Socialism

You aren't wrong. 48% would say they are stuffed.

Unbelievable how pathetic these SJW professional students have become.
I guess this us how it was in the 60's with the Hippies.
Let them starve
ETA: I lived off of Kraft Mararoni and Cheese, Ramen noodles and canned tuna. I survived.

What % have iPhone 7's?
What % have $40-60 TShirts?
What % pay $5 a drink when they go out?
What % drive less than 4 year old premium autos?
Life is about choices folks.
These "students" are poor because (in their minds) they deserve the finer things in life now.
Not after they work and save money for them.

And on a unrelated note- 94% of Montclaire Students are obese.

And I ate ramen noodles 2-3 times per week for dinner often while in college.
I am thinking they are confusing actual hunger for "not getting to eat at chipotle with a side of Fivebucks coffee."

I know plenty of students who went hungry ... for a meal or two, but the beer was filling, the partying zapped thoughts of food, and the parents replenished the bank accounts.

I didn't have money for food in college at times.
Peanut butter and a spoon goes a long way.

The Big Mac itself is only 3.99. 5.69 for the meal.

No one should believe that.

Of course they do, because we generally spent our pocket money on beer and weed.
That is why we basically lived on cheap shite like ramman noodles

We had a food bank at the last institution I worked at, they do have student that are very poor, but 48% seems more than height. I was thinking like 10% to 15% is probably accurate. I would donate boxes of mac and cheese and roman.

this is BS. two words, ramen noodles.
this.is.starvation
I find it absolutely absurd when Americans whine about poverty and starvation. Very few American know real poverty and starvation relative to the rest of the world.
I'd venture to guess if it wasn't a bullshite, belly-aching, sjw study, we would find that closer to 0% of college students actually go "hungry" Judging by some the body-size changes in some of the people I went to HS with, starvation didn't appear to be much of a problem when I was in college.

It also doesn't go into the issue of meal plans at schools, especially when it is required for campus residents.
Just because the cafeteria food looks like shite doesn't mean there isn't plenty of it. You just have to show up and eat if you have the credits left.

Agree but there aren't too many jobs that require a BA in Liberal Snowflake Microagression Technology
That might fly for the BS art majors, but for the actual tough majors (science, engineering, etc) it is an actual choice between studying and working for money.
Taking 15+ credits with an engineering workload is easily 60+ hours a week in studying. Anyone who disagrees has never gone through it.

It opened on the New Jersey college's campus in April, after administrators started hearing from students who said they were hungry and didn't have enough money for food. They surveyed students, finding that more than half said they or someone they know experiences "food insecurity"
Food insecurity??
fricking hell there isn't a hunger problem. These entitled brats have no fricking idea what a real hunger problem is. You don't have a hunger problem, It's called being in college. When I was in college I ate ramen noodles, plain rice, bread, more bread, and even more bread. If you want fine dining quality meals, find a fricking job. Are you really such pussies that you can't even handle being a college student?
Posted on 12/7/16 at 9:19 am to Eric Nies Grind Time
This is correct but I don't know people that don't get fries with it.
