While I'm sure many of those white folks are bothered by the racial aspect, I'd guess some are more bothered by the "in his 70s" part of the question. For a party that tends to trend younger, I'd say there are a few folks out there who are disillusioned at the prospect of electing a guy who will be 78 on inauguration day, regardless of his race.

Confirms that at least half of all white Democrats are self loathing misfits. But that has been painfully obvious for a time. Shame. All they have to do is get the frick out of the way of the self assured, self starting white conservatives and moderates who will carry their own weight and also carry the water for the timid, self haters. Make a living for them, fight their wars and make sure hey don't get taken advantage of by anyone. Foreign or domestic.
They can change their sexes, marry their same sex lovers and the Karens amng them can Facebook up a storm without the storm troopers coming for them. SS will be there for them and the conservatives will hire and employ their adopted kids or even the ones they think they sired. Just get the frick on down the road and stand down. Join your support groups and cry on each other's shoulders since we got your back. But you won't. White democrats are like Cockroaches. It's not what they eat and haul off that matters, rather it's what they fall in and frick up that is frustrating.
