You're condoning a person in handcuffs getting a knee to the back of their neck and throat smashed for at least 5 minutes straight.

I dont know if this cop walks but the more I see I think he has a chance to hang a jury.

Imagine the riots then.

And as a bonus, a second trial.

Jim... dog.... chill out.

The cop was wrong for what he did. There are better ways to argue against the rioting and looting.

Clearly. 9 minutes (do you realize how long that is?) of a knee to the back of the neck caused Floyd's death.

Doesn't sound like a truth at all.

By the time the trial rolls around in a year there won’t be any riots regardless of verdict/mistrial. The attention will move on to something else.

Well that's a bunch a BS!

I don't care what he had in his system. He did not deserve to die with a knee to his neck.

I don't see any resistance to arrest in 2 separate videos.

Lots of words.

There’s never going to be perfect police or perfect policing. The only option we have is back-end accountability.

Chauvin contributed to the death of a person in custody. Letting the justice system grind this out is our best option.

Throat wasn’t smashed. Y’all need to watch the video again.

If the knee was really on there strongly, it wouldn’t have taken 9 minutes.

Hawkeye Moment of Enlightenment

Come on man ready the report or put it together for yourself that all the videos released are conveniently cut. Why did the security cameras with perfect angles on what happen not turn on a few minutes sooner or stay on just a precious few minutes longer.

3 cops watched as 1 cop put his knee on the his neck for what 4mins and he never moved. don't mean to be a dick but show me a link to a video or body cam that shows him reisting.

if resisting the police is a good reason for them killing you i would have died at 28.. 16 years later i am alive to tell the story.

Agreed, still it does make me care less.

Two gang-bangers shooting themselves isn't as tragic as someone breaking into someone elses home and killing them.

Floyd is getting, and will get, more coverage, probably a thousand fold more coverage, than David Dorn.

A shitty cop kills a shitty person? Sad.

A looter shoots a man over a god damn TV? Even worse.

No Floyd didn't deserve to die, but lets not pretend we just crucified Jesus Christ. Even ignoring the riots and focusing on the protests... Weeks long protests, across the nation, for a druggie stealing from people?

People like David Dorn (Google it if you don't know what I'm talking about) deserve that attention and respect.

Downvote away.

And had he not committed a federal crime. And had he not resisted arrest. And had he not have been pretty close to a dead man already. Did the knee kill him? That's 50/50 since you have conflicting medical reports. Probably didn't help him any but just as likely wasn't the primary cause of death either.

The man was detained. Whether he wrote a bad check or was on meth, is irrelevant. He deserved his day in court just like anyone else.

Neither you or anyone has any idea how much pressure was being applied, nor at this time the actual causes of death.

One truth... a knee on the neck of a man handcuffed on the ground for 9 minutes is never ok...
