A 37-year-old man who played a key role in defrauding a United States food programme in the state of Minnesota during the COVID-19 pandemic has been sentenced to 30 years in prison

quote:

The widespread scheme in Minnesota, which resulted in dozens of convictions, has repeatedly drawn attacks from Trump, who ridiculed the Democratic governor for failing to stop the scheme

quote:

Salim Said, who operated Safari Restaurant in Minneapolis, was accused of vastly overstating the number of meals when seeking payment for providing food to needy children. The government said he was responsible for $44 million in fraud, some of which was committed by others he recruited.

quote:

Said, who was born in Somalia, denied the allegations while testifying at his 2025 trial, saying many meals were delivered off site. But he changed course and expressed remorse at his sentencing on Wednesday.

Don’t wanna give Al Jazeera (parent company of TYT and Hasan) a view. Is he getting deported afterwards? Or is he just gonna cost us a few million more bucks in jail and go straight on welfare after?

Well. He’s not a citizen. Hopefully while he’s rotting in jail we can deport his friends and family.

Outstanding and hardly believable sentence in the land of Derick Chauvin.

This news and the release of “Unelected” give me hope.

In 2025, a jury convicted Said, 37, on all 21 counts including wire fraud, bribery and money laundering.
The same jury also convicted Aimee Bock, 46, of leading a scheme to steal several hundred million dollars from taxpayer-funded child nutrition programs by filing fraudulent reimbursement claims replete with phony invoices, falsified meal count forms, and rosters listing the names of fictional children. In May, Brasel sentenced Bock to nearly 42 years in prison.

Said received the third-longest prison term of the 32 people sentenced so far. Only Bock and Abdiaziz Farah, who was convicted at an earlier trial in 2024 and later pleaded guilty to trying to bribe a juror, received longer total terms. They are among 81 defendants charged in the sprawling case since 2022.

She added that because Said is a legal permanent U.S. resident, he could face deportation.

All of these people and thousands more across the country were encouraged to engage in this fraud because after all the Democrats were gonna win and the looting was only just beginning.
So, Kay bar the door.

Try to imagine what all would've gone down if the Democrats had won out.

Thank you. I keep saying the same. How did 1000s of Somalians, in SEVERAL states, figure out how to navigate the myriad web of red tape in the govt, with the SAME types of fraud: food for poor, learing centers, assisted care. Something was coordinated and it wasnt a bunch of 68 IQ somalians.

Second, where are the states in all this. One hole in the wall restaurant serving 10s of millions in food. Learing centers with hundreds of kids. Supposedly there were whistleblowers in MN which is more than can be said for other states.

Kate bar the door. I have not heard that one in a long time, my 8th grade English teacher used that phrase often, it means trouble is coming. Comes from King James 1st of Scotland and an angry mob. Kate a servant could not find the 2x4 to latch the door so she used her arm, the mob broke down the door and her arm. Her surname was Douglass but her descendants forever after used the surname Barlass.

This is the way. Screw 30 years in prison. Put him on a plane back to his shithole country with the warning that he’ll be shot on sight if he’s ever caught on American soil again.

The Minnesota fraud has been handled. This man acted alone. Nothing more to see here. Move along- the MSM, probably…

Also, that 30 year sentence is racist- the MSM, definitely…

Except you'd likely send him back to Somalia with his millions over there. He'd live like a king. Surely they sent a ton of it back home.

Send him to CECOT
