Sad. I really do hope this is a wake up call for tens of millions of Americans that insist on eating themselves into oblivion.
Also - I'm not equating this to the flu - but People could run stories like this every year that would be just as sad, only about unexpected deaths from the flu.
I understand the humanizing the deaths is likely a lofty, worthwhile pursuit in a vacuum, but I fear it only serves to keep the public ginned up about this thing.
