Why or how are you so confident Trump wins? Polls seem like it’s very tight

And yet we know have 650 rigs on average drilling now and had 250 rigs drilling when trump left office…and are at peak production now…

Maybe it is supply and demand instead of politics?

Recession incoming, demand is way down, not only seasonal here, but globally… We are going to crash in the next few months, so gas going down, just like cigarette demand has just plummeted, these aren’t good economic signs… Dems have drove us off the cliff, just bookmark this after the election

I was about to say, it's part of their agenda to earn "votes." They "win,", it would be back up the day after the "election."

If the DEMS pull the swing state cheat, Kamala wins.
Fair election, Trump wins.

So the DNC is forcing oil companies to sell their barrels of oil for less money and forcing gas stations to keep gasoline prices low until after the election?

Is that's what's going on?

Although the rig count has rebounded under President Biden from the pandemic lows, it remains lower than in previous years. Biden’s administration has averaged 500 rigs, compared to 666 under Trump and 909 under Obama. Despite this, average oil production under Biden has been 12.2 million barrels per day (BPD), compared to 11.0 million BPD under Trump and 7.2 million BPD under Obama.

This discrepancy highlights that the rig count is a poor short-term predictor of oil production, as it reflects a complex interplay of oil prices, technological advancements, and evolving strategies by oil companies focused on fiscal discipline.

In conclusion, interpreting rig count data without considering the broader context can lead to misleading conclusions. Rig count data is part of a larger puzzle that includes oil prices, technological development, and a shift in strategies by oil companies determined to demonstrate more fiscal discipline.

Gas is decreasing because the economy is tanking, and supply is up because of nonuse.

Of course, just like when gasoline prices tanked in Q1/Q2 2020, Q4 2015-Q1 2016, and Q4 2008 into Q1 2009.

I hope we don't see a hard enough recession again to put gasoline under $2/gallon national average, because that would likely mean decreased commerce and increased unemployment.
