$25 million in Stimulus Package to the Kennedy Arts Center

Why is this even in this package? Is there something that they do that Im just not aware of that is instrumental in stopping the wutang flu?
Thanks politicians for saving us all that tax payer money?

$25 million more than i'll see for the Rockefeller center, and I still won't attend anything there because at this point, I still won't be able to afford a trip to NYC.
