They had four years under Biden that they were in control and could have been screaming about it the whole time. They remained silent. Now that "Republicans" (GOPe stooges) are in charge, Dims will throw a hissy fit about it because it makes the spineless GOPe look terrible on top of incompetent.
The "Republicans" are not our goddamn friends and I'm honestly sick of hearing about how they're"better" than the other guys. They're not. They're just the opposite side of the same trick coin. Outside of very few staunch and convicted conservatives in Congress like Rand Paul and Tim Burchett and a few others, they're naught but a bunch of Etatist Kleptocrats pissing all over us and telling us it's raining.
So no, we damn sure don't love Democrats. But we should hate the GOPe.

i could be wrong, but i think there was also something in there that would of given the dems the floor and control.
It's a pretty short resolution, full link here House Resolution
quote:
Resolved, That the House of Representatives—
(1) affirms its constitutional authority under Article I to conduct investigations, issue subpoenas, and expose criminal misconduct and institutional corruption;
(2) demands that the Trump Administration immediately release all unclassified files, flight logs, correspondence, and evidence pertaining to Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and all known associates, with redactions only to protect the identities of minor victims and preserve ongoing prosecutions;
(3) calls upon the Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and any relevant executive branch agency to submit a full report on any delays, suppression, or destruction of evidence related to Epstein’s operations;
(4) urges the relevant House Committees to ini11 tiate formal investigations into any obstruction, sup12 pression, or delay of the files’ release; and
(5) supports full transparency and public access to these documents in the interest of justice, ac15 countability, and the prevention of future abuses of power.

If that is the language, republicans voting against it are actively covering up.

@grok Did the House hold any floor votes today?
OP is fake news and there are a whole lot of “follow the leader” knuckleheads that post here.
The left cannot help but lie.

No floor votes were held in the U.S. House of Representatives today, July 15, 2025. The House met for legislative business, but posts on X indicate that no votes took place, and the session concluded without any recorded votes. This aligns with reports of internal Republican disagreements stalling progress on bills, such as a cryptocurrency measure.

I don't care what party puts this motion forward, it needs to pass. This is sick.

How can they block the release of something that doesn't exist?
I promise I will release the list.
I promise there is no list.
I promise there is a list but it’s been completely falsified by my enemies.
They can release a list that details how Trump and Epstein financed each others sexual atrocities and it won’t change very many people’s opinion on Trump.
MAGA got played on this.

There's always a caveat ....more to the story. The bottom line is a majority of politicians have their occupational roots in the legal system.

I'm a Trump fan. I now feel like he and the entire Republican Party are at work to hide significant information from the American people.
This is just getting started.

It's a standalone resolution, with no amendment of the GENIUS act within.
Someone tried to get it into pending legislation, which will have to happen in some way to have legal force.

Well after spending 6 months making democrats take the wrong side of 80-20 issues Trump just walked the GOP into one that will hang on their necks now for years.
Completely unforced error.

Before allowing yourself to become disappointed, did you bother to see if this is a true story?
The 211-210 vote was over Crypto.
Have you heard anyone else making same claim as OP.

Well, we found one issue that united the MAGA and establishment wings the Republican Party. Too bad they’re uniting to cover this crap up.

I’m with you and it’s a sickening feeling. If they would’ve shut the hell up about it and not made the claims they had I wouldn’t feel this way. Just generic “we’re looking into it and will release our findings” would’ve sufficed but they wouldn’t shut the hell up. They created a conspiracy with the contradictory statements.
