The closet Democrats will be coming out soon, panic-posting and trying to convince each other (and themselves) that things will turn out in their favor.
They won't.
They won't.

Love betting prediction markets are objectively fascinating to have on Election Day.
This thread is full of tea leaves and drips of information, but at least thus far the prediction markets are largely unmoved.
There does seem to be some easy money to be had betting Abbott to win and Florida senate, Louisiana senate and Florida governor to all go red.
I wonder if Election Day prediction market money is just a timing game and big money won’t come in at this point until the outcome is clear and it’s a race to buy before the markets shift wildly to the eventual winner.

It’s probably a relatively niche thing but gaining more popularity. I gamble on sports pretty much daily but have never bet on politics.

No, it's not unfortunately. You need to compared against '22, not '24. Dems have about a 40K firewall of votes in Nevada heading into today, and these election day margins are not going to be enough to overcome that. Maybe Lombardo can get enough crossover votes from Dems/NPA's to hold on, but I doubt it.

Yeah I've found it usually isnt a good idea to bet on things in which I'm emotionally invested. Totally clouds my judgement.

Man, just browsing Twitter and you go from posts that America has fallen to communism in a Blue Wave to it's the biggest Republican turnout in history and the dems are shutting down their party.
Was just trying to see how things are going

WSB out of Atlanta is reporting that Fulton county is saying they need to rescan some ballots.

Yeah I’m at the point I’m just waiting for polls to close and actual results to come in. Everyone thinks they’re winning right now.
At some point, there are going to be tremendous meltdowns from someone, and I’ll be here for it

There's money to be made on Florida and there's enough indicators to give you a heads up. Plus it's not like Cali, Michigan, GA etc where it's going to be stolen from you in the coming days.
Florida is a safe bet these days
