The House margin really doesn't matter that much, whether you are the minority party by 10 seats or 20 or 50 doesn't change anything about how the House operates.
House seats are also all up every 2 years, so you will retake a ton of them the next cycle.
Losing the Senate seats is far worse, because those are 6 year seats so the loss of one takes a long time to potentially recover.
