Biden will drop out after the convention, at which time the DNC will decide who replaces him. Michelle Obama

If they were going to choose someone I think it would be Gavin. I don't think Michelle wants it.

This is sort of fascinating to me. I thought Whitmer would be way higher. Clinton?? wtf

Only a very small number on this list really have national exposure.

Kamala was on the ticket with dumbass.

Hillary, Bernie, and Buttplug have all run for president before.

Etc.

These numbers are frankly horrible for the Dems because the total lack of a bench they have.

It’s SO crazy how bad off they are in terms of leaders with any sense of charisma yet are still kicking the shite out of the feckless Republican Party.

Just don’t see why.

The Obama wield a ton of influence and are living the elitist life now. Actually being president would cramp their lifestyle a ton.

The most palatable candidate on that list to the most people would be Manchin.

They'll need another one that can't be held responsible.

Fetterman was qualified, but not anymore.

I think Harris may be up next.

Clinton being the nominee would help Trump. She is probably the one politician more personally disliked than Trump. Now, a lot of people who don't like Trump personally will still vote for him but having someone like Clinton as his opponent would greatly help him.

The most surprising thing on that list is Harris at 15% in 1st..

That's completely mind boggling that democrat's could be that stupid.

Yeah I think that's people just not really paying attention and saying "yeah vice president I guess whatever". Or diversity pick. Anybody that actually pays attention to that woman and would support her as the President of the fricking United States needs to be deported

If Biden drops out, it has to be Harris. 30% of your voters not showing up on election day, will leave a mark

Thats why Trump being the nominee is the perfect choice. Biden thinks he can still beat him.

If Nikki wins, you get Michelle Obama as the nominee (ensuring the first female president).

If DeSantis would have won, Gavin Newsom would likely have been the nominee

Those percentages are virtually meaningless because the preferred Dem candidate is the one the media tells them is the preferred Dem candidate. Joe Biden entered the POTUS race multiple times before 2020. And he never gained any traction. In fact, he was constantly laughed at for being the buffoon he's always been. But fast forward to 2020, with a lot of help from the media marketing wing, he's suddenly super popular (most votes ever!!) and super qualified...despite being dumber than ever in his old age.

Pick any of those names. Doesn't matter. They IMMEDIATELY become a great candidate if the media anoints them as such. And the D's will be in full throated agreement...even if they hated that same person 3 weeks prior.

Juxtapose that with the Republicans. The party and media is doing everything possible to make Trump out to be the worst POTUS in history and the worst candidate ever. Despite that, his popularity seems to grow even stronger.

This list is not complete without mayor Tiffany Henyard on it.
