Who would you vote for between Trump and DeSantis in 2024?

I think I’d go for Trump as the known commodity but I can certainly see the allure of DeSantis.

Trump brings a certain friction but he got the most votes ever by a Republican. He just draws a strong opposition. Trump lost Georgia though and I think DeSantis could win it as a neighboring state.

Ideally, I like a Trump- DeSantis ticket. That would be hard to beat imo.

This.

You won't see these two battling against each other.

If I was Trump I would approach Desantis and offer him the VP slot and tell him I would agree to step down after two years.

Trump rides off into the sunset at 80 and Desantis has a shot at 10 years as POTUS starting at age 48.

I'm torn. On one hand, Trump will be 78 by that point and DeSantis will be the best politician in America. DeSantis brings all of the good qualities of Trump (see his anti-rioting bill) without the Twitter account that turns off retarded suburban women. DeSantis is a hardass who routinely embarrasses the leftist media just like Trump did.

On the other hand, I live in Florida and want DeSantis to be governor for life.

Desantis.

Trump at this point is not going to win they have hit his name to much.

Desantis is a younger version of what Trump is. A bull nosed, no nonsense guy. I think he has to be the guy for the party going forward. He refuses to back down from the media and absolutely shuts down any of their bullshite. He also has moderate support here and could grab it nationally.

He is Trump without the controversy. It's a win win.

I like him a lot, but it would be nice if he had some real world experience outside of government.

One of Trump's greatest strengths and a Desantis weakness.

Trump doesn't see issues through the lens of a politician.

The popularity of Trump demonstrates conservative Americans are tired of career politicians.

DeSantis with the financial support of Trump and the backing of an all R Senate and House.

DeSantis has the same balls as Trump, but I feel he can pacify the Rhino idiots somewhat better. I also think bi-partisan legislation will be much healthier than it is now. Maybe by then, Pelosi and Mitch and Chuck might all be gone.

DeSantis. I'd like someone to spend less than Trump.

I think DeSantis is one of those guys that history has chosen for this moment. He handled Covid the best of anyone and is a free speech and freedom absolutist. Big fan of him.

Let's just see how Trump's speeches and clarity are going by then before making that call.
