You sure?
You think a future Dem POTUS won’t enjoy the benefits of this ballroom?

The ballroom is fully funded by donations. The CIC command bunker or safe house underneath the ball room is funded by the money in the reconciliation bill. You keep on buying the MSM and doomsday brigade propaganda. Facts do matter.
See this is where everyone jumps into their respective camps to clutch their pearls and powder their vagjnas.
Both can be true. It was a complete and utter lie to claim that the ballroom would not cost the taxpayers a dime. Whether it required hi tech anti ballistic missle windows, some super secret underground bunker, or routine maintenance required AFTER the building was built - taxpayers were always going to be on the hook.
And it’s simply hilarious watching the window lickers jizz all over themselves about it being “privately funded” while simultaneously criticizing construction costs at the Fed which literally does not cost taxpayers.
Government buildings in DC cost a shite ton of money to build. This is like criticizing thenPOTUSis like criticizing a POTUS for “taking too many vacations days.”
Build the fricking ballroom. This is the USA and our leaders shouldn’t be eating dinners in tents.

actually you can buy a paving brick with your last name on it for a thousand dollars that will be used for the walk ways around the gardens. Early sales indicate 1.2 million bricks will be sold and the Ballroom will cost the taxpayer nothing out of pocket.

Brother if you need a billion of someone else's money to protect you you’re not the good guy. I recognize the stooges are going to downvote because they interpret this as I want President Trump to die, but what I’m actually saying is that spending is out of control.
I’m actually fine with spending to protect current and future presidents with infrastructure. Nobody wins with a presidential assassination. People come and go, security can be partisan, corrupted or inept. A secure environment can at least mitigate that.
Spending is indeed out of control, but there are trillions being spent that we cannot even see results from. The ballroom is not a priority in that regard

Look it’s smoother brain dead idiot posting something he heard on tikky tokky. Then he runs to tell EVERYONE braking 3 seconds to research for the truth.
And your generation blames boomers for your downfall. How glorious

That’s exactly my point
It’s the same argument for public education. Just throw money at it and it will get better. Except it won’t and it’s the same in the secret service. It doesn’t matter what you spend the problems will remain the same.

Anybody who is surprised at Trump spending taxpayer dollars like he's making it rain at the club didn't pay any more attention during his first term than the people who were surprised by him being militarily aggressive this time around.

I’m not surprised in retrospect. I’m surprised he blatantly lied about it with his promises of DOGE and massive cuts that haven’t materialized.

Yeah, again, why?
You knew from watching him his first term he doesn't care about federal spending. Just like the isolationists around here knew he wasn't an isolationist pussy like they wanted him to be.
I told that isolationist group over and over during the campaign that he didn't mean any of that, that he was just campaigning. They still acted shocked when he started kicking arse all over the globe (well, some of them did...the majority just acted like they never were against new wars in the first place.)
I don't know why it's so impossible for MAGA to admit that Trump tells them what they want to hear.
I don't think he's any worse than any of the rest of them about that, btw. But he's no better, either.
I do think he's worse compared to himself this second term than he was the first...I think he's not only accepted it as part of the game, I think he gets off on it. I think he 'effing LOVES it when he tells MAGA stuff and then directly contradicts it knowing that they'll just make excuses for it and ignore it and not hold him accountable at all for it.
But as someone who doesn't have any emotional investment in thinking that Trump is a "savior" or a "hero" or that he's going to "drain the swamp" and that he's an "outsider," it's fairly easy to read between the lines and see what he's doing. Not saying I always know why he's doing it, but seeing that he's doing it is pretty easy when you don't have an emotional commitment to denying reality.

It's not for the ballroom you stupid frick. It's for the facility under the ballroom and it was requested by the Secret Service.
The ballroom is being paid for by private donations.
While you're whining about this you probably didn't realize Trump won't even get to use it.
