And that's in exchange for $2000 in a government check. The bill comes later, but not much later.

Everyone in a red state should be pissed. We just destroyed our kids future to bail out blue states and kind the pockets of politicians. It’s to bad republicans don’t fight back as a group. Seems like republican voters are like the politicians, just complain . We should be sticking together to fight back .

I don’t know if you have been paying attention - but since early last year - the government has spent $100,000 per tax payer

It’s insane

The dollar is going to tank very very soon, and China is laughing all the way to the bank

frick our government, bullshite like this makes me wish the worst for them when shite finally hits the fan.

The same could be said about all the money the government spends. Each year they take my hard earned money via taxes and spend it carelessly no matter who is in charge, republican or democrat.

We declared independence and formed this country because of taxes and lack of representation. The same is still true today no matter what side of the isle they sit and we stand by and allow it to happen.

If you take each "stimulus" and only give the money to actual Americans everyone would have received almost 15k

Luckily my wife found me attractive at least 5 times. We have 5 kids so it adds up

$10,863 Per Tax Payer

Yet I’m not getting a dime in stimulus despite paying out my arse in taxes last year (and every year before that).

I hope your paying down your debt and saving money . It’s only going to get worse. We all need to work on paying down our debt. So once the first UBI bill is past we all retire and crash the country. I know one person that makes 150K a year all of his bills are payed and he is retiring if we ever get a UBI .

"And I pray
Oh my God, do I pray
I pray every single day
For revolution"

This 4 Non Blondes song came on the radio yesterday and this line stood out to me. Weird song, but this hit close to home.

No, because all citizens don’t pay taxes. Make it per tax paying citizen and see the scarier number

Is my math right? This is just astounding to me.

It is even worse since about only 53% pay taxes.

That is $10,863 per tax payer.

What’s even crazier is the amount of people that don’t even have either amount you listed in cash.

This didn’t seem to matter when Trump’s tax cuts went to the wealthy.

You didn't get a tax cut because of your local politicians. I know plenty of people that are clearly middle class that got tax breaks.

I'd do the same. No reason to work if everything is taken care of.
