Whatever it takes to not have to go to work.

Being a teacher is about educating children and putting their needs first. Calling out sick for political purposes is inappropriate.

Disagree. Follow the money. Taking money from the government generally makes you leftist. Leftist policies often enrich people working for the government. These teachers vote leftist bc leftists are the ones giving them tenure and pay raises and exorbitant benefits and bending over for the union’s demands. I’d imagine a lot of these teachers started as moderate and now they’re heavily leftist bc it benefits them to be leftist

Edit: it’s kinda a chicken and the egg argument, but look at Washington DC. #1 employee is the federal govt there, and so the district votes like 95% democrat. And almost everyone that works for a public university is the same way - they vote for leftists bc leftists expand money to public universities which in turn fills their pockets. People will always vote with their wallet in mind before anything else

Well, one group wants to mask and indoctrinate your children and are bitching about a fair democratic process. The other just wants their freedom from Government tyranny and for the world to get back to normal.
