If conservatives were smart they would run on forcing this to be flipped to help their midterm chances. Though it shouldn’t carry much weight, besides in commiefornia.

The CDC recommends that the covid shot should be taken with the other vaccines for school so the covid shot will be free also.

No, it's about forcing states like TX that in order to get federal funding (which we honestly shouldn't need anyway), to force everyone to get the jab for USDA lunch funding, etc.

They already did this with pre-K and masks, and this is just an extension of the same principle.

The TEA (Texas Education Agency that sets "guidelines") is based in Austin, and will "suggest" whatever the CDC says. Even conservative school districts will follow what TEA "suggests" to avoid lawsuits and Karens bitching.

TBH, Texas has done fark all when my old employer mandated the jab in the face of state laws that prohibited it being a condition of employment, so I expect Texas to bend the knee. Attorney General doesn't care, etc.

Did they check with the CEO of Moderna who would profit off of this and who said only at risk folks (not kids) need a vax booster?

It was unanimous. They're science people, bro, just do what you're told.

The vote today was to add it to the “free vaccine” category. Tomorrow is the vote to add it to the schedule.

Meanwhile, Europe is walking back all covid vax stuff for kids...

Sad when the EU is on the right side of an issue.

Weird that the government isn’t required to take it. Most of them have one foot in the grave already and none died of Covid that I am aware of.

Who is going to stand up? Or are we just going to type some words and act tough?

Pretty much. I'd do pod schooling for my kids, probably with my neighbor. But ex-wife is in charge, so I just sit back and watch.

Oh you could be right that the feds won't use funding to blackmail states to make the covid vax mandated.

There's a REAL issue over whether this constitutes a

under the law.

In fact, I expect the recent admission by the Pfizer CEO to be Exhibit 1 in the class action.

JBE is a retarded partisan, but I don't think even he is dumb enough to push this.
