Middle east has been our playground for decades. We treat human life over there like grass.
Hell, we just saw, a few months ago, Biden's team killing a bunch of children in Afghanistan.. and it was deemed an acceptable loss. I'd like to think our government gave the surviving members of that family a few million dollars as compensation, but I doubt it.
We also seem to fund rebel groups that are even worse than the dictators we're trying to depose.
It wouldn't surprise me if us or China are funding rebel groups all across Africa also. In almost every African country, there seems to be rebel groups that are keeping their regions perpetually destabilized.
