Even if he did die from complications due to the Chinese Flu at 103, is it worth trampling people’s constitutional rights and destroying the economy? That’s what the True Believers and tejashorns of the world fail to recognize.

That’s never gone on any death certificate, anywhere, ever

I’ve filled out plenty of death certificates on patients >90, and I promise there’s always a reason

I think they are inflating the numbers but it’s hilarious to see how this board downplays anyone dying of covid

I hear ya. But this dude wasn’t 83, or even 93. He was 103. I mean, it’s great that he “runs” the Boston Marathon, and for 103...he may be quite fit. But he is still 103.

I mean, he died of something. Nobody dies of “old age”.

If we want to operate in the world of efficient causation, having been born is 100% fatal (of course having been born isn't a necessary condition of dying, as there are miscarriages and abortions every minute of every day, but there is definitely a 1:1 correlation between having been born and dying).

Odd, the libs don't have the same view of abortion though.

Who said anything about choosing between a child and an elderly person? What point are you even making?

Well, two things it clearly didn't teach you are basic logical reasoning and fallacy avoidance.

Would you like to expand on that or are you just taking cheap shots masquerading as intelligence?

you have already made the choice for millions of American families to suffer due to lost jobs instead of a couple hundred thousand of the elderly going a couple months before they would have anyways

Wow I didn’t know I was dictator of the USA. I wish someone would have told me.

I’m not in support of the draconian lockdowns, so you made a stupid partisan assumption.

This is exactly what I am talking about. Who are you to belittle the value of a person’s life. Seriously I hope you end up neglected in a nursing home.
