Phoenix has become a very violent city

quote:

One person was killed and eight others were injured in a shooting on Saturday at a strip mall in Phoenix, according to Phoenix police.

The shooting occurred at around 1 a.m., police said. They responded to multiple shooting calls in the area of 10th Avenue and Hatcher Road, and people fled from a strip mall parking lot when officers arrived, police said. Multiple victims were located both at the scene and nearby.

So far, nine victims have been identified. Detectives say the investigation is preliminary, but said there was a large crowd gathered at a party in a strip mall when an altercation led to a shooting. The shooting, police said, took place inside and in a nearby parking lot and roadway.

During a news conference, Sgt. Andy Williams said a group of about 100 people were at the strip mall during the time of the shooting, according to CBS affiliate KPHO.

Sometimes I think that being shot by a rando will be the way I go. Thats why I eat what I want and drink too much. Why not.

A lot of the hoodrats from Los Angeles have moved to Vegas and Phoenix. Violent crime there (and pretty much everywhere) has noticeably increased.

There must be a bar included in the stip mall. Who else would be at a stip mall at 1 a.m.

Don’t be suckered by CBS news.

You know exactly why this is being reported even though this type of “mass shooting” takes place in every major city.

Here’s the “strip mall” LINK. The location is a shithole. Baton Rouge and New Orleans have dozens of locations like this where Democrats and other Vitamin D deficient people gather after midnight .

Don’t be shocked and think Phoenix is suddenly more dangerous than any other city. CBS is playing you. Don’t be played.

So Phoenix is bout as a grid. Everything west of central is an “Avenue” and everything to the east of central is a “street”. For the most part of you’re west of central (on an “ave”) you’re probably not in the best part of town.

Based on what data? Here’s a violent crime map I found based on 2021 offenses: LINK

I see that data and come to the opposite conclusion. If I had to pick one of the 10 largest cities to live in, it’s Phoenix all day every day.

Edited: since you love CBS, here’s their ranking of most major cities based on homicide rate: LINK. Looks like they stopped after the 65 most dangerous cities. Phoenix is not on the list.

If Phoenix were suddenly transported into Louisiana, Louisiana would suddenly become one of the safest states to live in the US.

I am still waiting for the news reporter to report on a shooting while shots are being fired all around him/her. To see the reporter get down or hide behind the camera during the "action".

These noise thugs with their agendas have become a huge stain on our society.

Maybe I’m a bit cynical but does it look like the city list on CBS had as many white perps as they could gin on the list to appear “even handed”? I would wager good money that in these big cities where the vast majority of the killing is coming from…but again maybe I’m just thinking I’m on to the CBS m.o. and not?

With cartel violence pouring across the border, it's a great time to disarm the citizenry.

The MSM NEVER mentions race...unless it is a white/POC confrontation....

1am, party near a strip mall, altercation went ballistic....sounds all too familiar.

You’re right

Haven’t heard this on news or the Twitter

Kinda like the hospital shooting a few days ago… quietly getting swept under the rug since it doesn’t fit the angry white male narrative

They mean Sunnyslope or Maryvale or places like El Mirage. Not Arrowhead Ranch or Vistancia or Verrado, which are all in the avenues. The most abject poverty I’ve ever seen in Phoenix is in the streets, in Guadalupe.
