So, I am on a jobsite that I can't leave to go to lunch. I am bad about buying very unhealthy snacks and eating throughout the day. Can y'all give me some ideas on healthy snacks to pack in my bag to snack on during the day?

--Kashi TLC bars...a good substitute for a candy bar when you have an afternoon sugar craving.
--roasted almonds...portioned out into little baggies so you don't eat the entire container.
--an apple & some peanut butter; in the AM, wash & core the apple, stick peanut butter into the core space. You can eat it with no utensils and even dirty hands, if you hold it w/a napkin. Same thing goes for celery sticks stuffed w/peanut butter...the celery is just a crunchy, fiber filled peanut butter delivery device.
--good cheddar, cut into bite sized pieces.
--hardboiled eggs.

Dry roasted cashews and raisins. I have them in my golf bag.

-Salsa and/or hummus with crudités

-turkey jerky

-fruit (apples, bananas, oranges, grapes are easiest to take with you)

-banana & almond butter or apple with almond butter

-pre-portioned trail mixes (trail mix calories add up fast if you don't pre-measure it)

-almonds or pistachios

trail mix is the worst thing you can get. a small bag has around 400-500 calories

i would get the 100 calorie almond bags

greek yogurt

jerky is fine but watch the sodium

fruit or veggies will always win out, they have fiber and water and it will fill you up

baby carrots
celery
apples
pears
oranges
kiwi
peach

i eat 3-4 servings of the above fruits and veggies per day throughout the day

lost 60 lbs 6 years ago and have kept it off. sitting at the office is the worse, thats where i gained my weight. just dont get a resealable bag, you will always grab a handful, etc

You could also just not buy snacks and eat a healthy breakfast and lunch.
